Hello! I’m Marinelle Rowell, a licensed esthetician with over three years of professional experience in hair removal and skincare. While I may be new to the area, I bring a strong background and passion for helping clients look and feel their best. I’ve recently opened my treatment room to focus on expert waxing services, with a specialty in Brazilian waxing. **Please note: I do not offer waxing services on the male genital area, I am not trained to do so. My future services will include customized facials and advanced treatments such as microneedling, dermaplaning, and chemical peels—services I’ve been trained in and have hands-on experience providing. At Poised Expressions, it is my mission to empower individuals to feel confident and radiant by delivering personalized esthetic services in a serene, client-focused, judgement-free environment. ———————————————————————— 👇🏽Please read important information👇🏽 🚨 FIRST TIME GUEST FOR BRAZILIAN WAXING 🚨 For first-time guests, I ask that you book the Essential Brazilian service. This option is designed specifically for new clients so I can properly assess your hair growth, skin sensitivity, and comfort level without rushing. There is a maintenance rate that applies only to existing clients who return within the recommended timeframe. This pricing is not available to new clients at their first appointment. Once we’ve completed your initial service and I understand your skin and growth pattern, you’ll be able to book the Essential Brazilian - Maintenance, which is $60 (4-5 weeks timeframe). ⛑️ SKIN CONDITIONS & MEDICATIONS ⛑️ Your safety and skin health are always my top priority. For this reason, I cannot perform waxing services if you are currently: • Taking certain medications (such as Accutane, Retin-A, blood thinners, or long-term steroids). • Managing active skin conditions (such as active acne, infections, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, or open wounds). • Recently had cosmetic treatments (chemical peels, laser, Botox/fillers, etc.) within the last 1-2 weeks. If any of these apply, waxing may put your skin at risk of irritation, tearing, or delayed healing. Please consult with your dermatologist before booking. ———————————————————————— ‼️ BEFORE YOUR WAX APPOINTMENT ‼️ ✅ DO: • Exfoliate gently 24-48 hours before your appointment to help prevent ingrown hairs. • Moisturize regularly in the days leading up to your wax (but avoid lotion the day of). • Let your hair grow to at least ¼ inch (about the length of a grain of rice) for best results. • Take a mild pain reliever (like ibuprofen) 30 minutes before if you’re sensitive to pain. • Wear loose, comfortable clothing to your appointment. • Communicate openly with me about any skin concerns, medications, or sensitivities. ❌ DON’T: • Don’t shave between waxes—this disrupts the hair growth cycle and makes waxing less effective. • Don’t exfoliate on the same day as your wax (it can increase sensitivity). • Don’t apply lotions, oils, or self-tanners before your appointment. • Don’t schedule your wax right before a big event (especially if it’s your first time—you may experience redness or sensitivity). • Don’t wax if you’re using certain medications (like Accutane or Retin-A). • Absolutely NO caffeine or alcohol for at least four hours before your wax appointment to reduce skin sensitivity.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. To respect both your time and mine, the following policies apply: 🕒 24-Hour Notice Required If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours before your appointment. ❌ Late Cancellations A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, that deposit will be kept as the cancellation fee. If you keep your appointment, the 25% deposit is applied toward your total at checkout. ⏰ Running Late? Please let me know as soon as possible. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may need to be rescheduled and will be treated as a late cancellation. 🚫 No-Shows If you miss your appointment without any notice, you’ll be charged 100% of the service total. Future bookings may require prepayment. “I Understand Life Happens…” Emergencies are handled at my discretion. Communication is key—just reach out so we can work together.
